“The Invincible Limit” zu widmen, welches er später in “The Invincible Spirit” umbenannte.

INVISIBLE LIMITS is a German Electronic / EBM / Darkwave project, founded by Thomas Lüdke in 1984.

He released some demo tapes with his songs “Devil Dance” and “Love is a kind of mystery“,
which were played by the DJ “Marian D.”, in the Dortmund scene club “Memphis” were performed first.

Through this the Dortmund record label “Last Chance Records”, became aware of Thomas.
In 1985 he signed an artist contract with the record label “Last Chance Records”.

To meet the growing demand for live performances, Thomas decides to form the band “Invisible Limits” from his solo project “Invisible Limits”.
So he asked his friends Michael G., Andreas K. and Ralf S. if they would like to play in the band. Unfortunately Michael had no time and so only Andreas and Ralf joined the band.

After rehearsing for several months in the above constellation, Michael G. introduced Marion M. to the band, who applied as a singer.
Marion was invited to an audition and Thomas decided to include her as an additional singer in the band.

In the following weeks Marion participated as a singer, on the songs also composed by Thomas:
“Thoughts”, “Shadows”, “Five Hours”, “For You”, “Lonley Heart”, “The Window” and also let her lyrics-ideas flow into these songs.

The band began intensive rehearsals and was finally ready to go on their first tour in Germany.

Also the first two records, which were released by “Last Chance Records”, immediately had a nationwide scene success.

In 1987 Thomas Lüdke decided to pause his active membership in the band in order to dedicate himself first to his second music project
“The Invincible Limit”, which he later renamed “The Invincible Spirit” .

In 2005 the band gave their very last concert in Germany, in the Bochum club “Zwischenfall”.
On this occasion, the final dissolution of the band was announced.
2008 followed a farewell concert for the Spanish fans, in Barcelona.
Both concerts were played in the original line-up from 1985 and the band was supported by some guest musicians.

After the breakup of the band, Thomas continued. He took his first “Invisible Limits” songs, into the live program of “The Invincible Spirit” and also worked on new “Invisible Limits” songs.

In 2019 Thomas released the remakes of “Love is a kind of mystery” and “Devil Dance”.
